Rowboat On The Nile, Egypt

@Jason Kravitz: Maybe it's the gold color in a land so filled with gold, but this pic just speaks 'Egypt' to me. The people in the rowboat - who are they? Like those villagers we saw along the shore, living as they have for thousands of years. They see our cruise ship go by and they surely wonder, "who are they?"

@Barry: I hope you do someday, Barry. It's quite an experience, and the people are very friendly - genuinely welcoming of visitors.
